Where will my course / tour starts?

Unless otherwise specified, our tour and course usually starts at Sha Ha Beach just 1 min walk from our Centre.

For equipment rental, the recommended departure point is also Sha Ha Beach.

If you have enrolled our Course or Tour, please assemble 15 mins before the start time, just outside our Water Sports Centre Near Sha Ha Road (Not the Beach)

Do I need a certificate before I can rent Kayak from you?

No. Certificate is not needed for Kayak Rental.

Do I need a certificate before Renting SUP board from you?

Yes! Absolutely.
Our customer’s safety is always our first priority. To ensure that, all SUP rental customers need to be a SUP Beginner Certificate holder (Awarded by HKSURFSUP association or Blue Sky Sports Club) before they can rent our SUP boards.

This is to ensure you have the basic safety knowledge before venturing yourself into the big blue, as the ocean could be quite unpredictable at times. 😉 Interested customer please fill in your Certificate Number when booking online. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the certificate number is incorrect.

I finished my SUP Beginner Class, when will I get my certificate?

Participants who successfully complete the SUP Beginner Course will be issued (within 1-4 weeks) an electronic certificate allowing them to rent an SUP board on their own.

Do you provide toilet and shower facilities?

Please use shower facilities at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department Squash Court. It is free to enter and located just a 5-mins walk from our water sports center.

If you come from Sai Kung Bus terminal, it will only take around 1 minute to arrive at the Squash Court mentioned.

Required swimming ability?

Yes, all participant should be able to swim 25 meters (specific programs may have different requirement) without any assistant or floating device.

How long could I rental an equipment?

Our office hour is 10am-5pm, please return the equipment on or before 4:45 pm.

How do I book a program / equipment rental?

First, register either as Regular Customer(Free) or Blue Sky Member on our website first. In that way, you won’t have to enter your personal information everytime you want to book something from us.

You can upgrade and become Blue Sky Member on a later date after you have registered as Regular Customer.

After that, proceed to the booking section of our website. For online booking, the latest bookable date will be 1 day in advance.

For equipment rental, booking is confirmed automatically once you have completed payment.

For course and tour, please wait for our confirmation email before payment.

What is included in my course / equipment booking?

Unless otherwise stated, course & tour booking included equipment, instructors, and life vest.

For group class, the max ratio would be 1:8.

For equipment rental, only the booked gear will be provided.

How do I know the course is confirmed?

After you have finished the registration form and completed payment, you will receive a confirmation email from us.

What do I need to bring?

You are suggested to bring water, water shoes (cover heel and toes), sunglasses (with a floating belt) and a hat. Please put on sunscreen and insect repellent before the event. You may need dry clothes for changing after the event.

To start the event on time, please kindly change your clothes and settle your personal belongings in advance.

Can you customize a program for me?

Of course, Blue Sky Sports Club always please to provide private course according to your needs. 1-5 days events, mixed water sports activities, fun day, junk touring, kayak touring and SUP beginner/advance courses.

We provide support for Cantonese / English / Mandarin.

If we have a small group, can we still book your service?

Of course, a minimum number of any course would be 4 people. If your group has less than 4, we will try to group with other participants.

Alternatively, participants are always welcome to form a private class with 1-3 person, please contact our staff for more details.

Can you arrange meals / snacks as a part of the program?

We could help to arrange lunch box, catering or BBQ meal. Please contact our staff to arrange.

A basic lunch box is already included in a full-day program with 8 or more participants, please contact our staff for special diet arrangement.

You are welcome to bring your own snacks for the event.
