The weather is finally cooling down, and that makes it barbecue season on the water. Our island-hopping kayak tour now ends with a BBQ on the island: one price, two experiences.

Your guide leads you out from Sha Ha past Yeung Chau and Pak Sha Chau to Yim Tin Tsai, where the grill is waiting. Made for families and small groups of friends who want an easy, unhurried weekend.

Tour Highlights

• Paddle the classic Sai Kung island chain — Yeung Chau, Pak Sha Chau and Yim Tin Tsai — with a certified guide setting a pace the whole group can keep.
• Land on Yim Tin Tsai and settle into a barbecue at a private spot on the island. All BBQ food comes from a licensed food supplier, and you are welcome to bring your own extras.
• Yim Tin Tsai is Hong Kong’s last working salt-farming island, and its salt-pan restoration earned a UNESCO conservation award. You get the story on the way in.
• Sign up and pay 10 or more days before your tour date and the price drops to HK$600 per person.

• Tour Location: Sha Ha (Sai Kung), Yeung Chau, Pak Sha Chau, Yim Tin Tsai
• Age: 6+ (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian)
• Price:
  • HK$680 per person (same price for adults and children)
  • Early bird: HK$600 per person when you sign up and pay 10 or more days before the tour date
  • Private group: from 6 people you can pick your own date; groups of 10 or more pay HK$600 per person
  • Groups of 10 or more see the HK$600 rate automatically when booking; the early-bird rate is applied by our team when we confirm your booking
• Price Includes: Kayak equipment, safety gear, instructor, BBQ equipment and a basic BBQ set

• Time: 10:00 – 16:00 (please arrive 15 minutes early)

Tour Itinerary

(Subject to change due to weather, tide or operational factors)

• Meet: Blue Sky Sports Club, Sha Ha — please arrive by 09:45
• Set off: Safety briefing, then paddle out at 10:00 from Sha Ha past Yeung Chau and Pak Sha Chau
• Yim Tin Tsai: Land on the island and settle in for the barbecue at a private BBQ spot
• Return: Paddle back to Sha Ha, tour ends at 16:00

Route and pace adapt to the group and conditions — your guide’s call. The BBQ site is a private venue: please follow your guide’s arrangements and never light a fire anywhere else on the island, so we leave the environment as we found it.

What do I need to bring?

• Must bring: Water sports shoes that covers your toes, swimwear, extra clothing, hat, sunscreen, dry bag and drinking water of 750ml or more.
• You are also suggested to bring sunglasses (with a floating belt), put on sunscreen and insect repellent before the event. You’ll also need dry clothes for changing after the event.
• To start the event on time, please kindly change your clothes and settle your personal belongings in advance.
