We have complied a list of May activities and want to give you an update of what we have in store for you in the coming month!

在這2小時的直立板初級課程體驗裡，你會學習基本直立板技巧，包括於直立板上的平衡、由俯臥式、跪划式至直立式於板面上的姿勢、握槳的正確方法、控制板的方向 (前後划行、轉向及停板) 以及直立板運動的安全知識。
課程考試合格後, 您將會獲發香港直立板總會頒發的證書，讓你可以隨時租借直立板划槳出海。

This program will demonstrate participants to learn the basic skills include: How to paddle forward and backward in prone position, in kneeling position and in stand up position; how to maneuver; and most importantly, the safety guidelines such as how to fall properly.

「吊鐘洞」連同其餘三個洞被稱為「東海四大名洞」，皆位於著名的香港地質公園之中。

香港地質公園有八大景區，其中之一的「甕缸群島景區」，就是由橫洲、火石洲、沙塘口山及吊鐘洲的金鐘岩組成。島嶼由具柱狀節理的火山岩構成，海岸長期受猛烈風浪沖刷，形成獨特的外觀，懸崖峭壁伴隨不少海蝕穴及海蝕拱。鄰近吊鐘洲的沙塘口山，東南沿岸更有全港最高的海崖，高度達140米。

Tiu Chung Arch in the southern part of the island has been regarded as one of the famous “Four Sea Arches” of Hong Kong, along with Sha Tong Hau Cave in the southern part of Bluff Island, Lam Wan Kok Cave in the eastern part of Basalt Island and Wang Chau Kok Cave in the eastern part of Wang Chau.

The 30-meter-tall arch can be sailed through when tides are low on a fine day and the weather stable. But people can also land on the island and climb uphill — the renowned arch will then appear as the wagging tail of an adorable goldfish.

The program will consist of 4 sessions which will be held on each Saturday.

 Training
 Program consists of Four SUP Training sessions (total 8 hours) which to be completed within a month (4 weeks, 1 session each Saturday).

Participants will learn some advanced techniques of SUP fitness and SUP racing, which will enable them to compete in SUP Races or go Open Ocean Paddling on their own.

Time: 13:00 – 15:00

Remarks :

All the participants should possess HKSUPBA SUP Beginner Certificate
All the participants should be able to swim 50m without additional assistant

該計劃將包括4節，將在每個星期六舉行

直立板健身和進階技術培訓計劃包括4節SUP培訓課堂（共8小時），整個計劃將在一個月內（分4週，每個星期六進行1次）完成。

參加者將學習到直立板健身和競賽的進階技術，這將使他們能夠參加直立板比賽或自己到海洋進行划板。

時間：13：00-15:00

備註：

所有參加者應持有HKSUPBA直立板初學者證書
所有參與者都無需協助下游泳50m

甕缸群島由橫洲、火石洲、沙塘口及吊鐘洲組成，屬於中國香港質公園的一部份。

你有機會抵達甕缸群島一帶，再轉為划支架直立板/ 獨木舟，近距離觀賞。

這裡的地層大部份屬於晚侏羅世至早白堊世(約2億130萬年前到1億4500萬年前) 的岩漿組成。

由於海岸長期受到猛烈的風浪衝擊，沿岸遍布懸崖峭壁及許多海蝕穴、海蝕拱。夏季水面較平靜時，更可以化身冒險家，穿過沙塘口洞，背靠高岩峭壁，拍攝獨特的紀念照片。

Ung Kong Group being part of the Hong Kong Geo Part it contains one of the four biggest sea caves in our eastern waters Sha Tong Hau Cave. This is an ideal place to study rhyolite and sea caves. The huge sea cave cuts right thorough the island and it is wide enough for us to paddle through. 

Most parts of the exposed stratum of Bluff Island belong to the Early Cretaceous Kau Sai Chau Volcanic Group. From the Late Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous, this region was the site of earth shaking changes. It began about 146 million years ago (Late Jurassic) when there were violent magma activities. Fiery underground magma intruded upwards, melting ancient rocks along its path. It forced its way through cracks and thrust along crustal faults or weak bands until it reached the surface to cause great volcanic eruptions.
